The Atmosphere

We believe that atmosphere is just as important as the food and coffee……it completes the experience.

At The Mossy we want to create a warm, welcoming space that is visually appealing and filled with happy, attentive staff and content customers.

We want our customers to walk in to The Mossy and feel like they’ve walked in to a friend’s home.

Mossy On Pacific is not just a place to get great food and coffee……..it’s a destination!

Pacific St is located in Mossy Point on the far South Coast, which is one of the most pristine and unspoilt spots along our beautiful coastline.

Metres from our cafe you’ll find the crystal clear waters of the Tomago river and Tomakin beach.

A short walk up to the headland will give you the most beautiful view of the Mossy Point coastline and surrounds.

  It’s not just a café — it’s a destination

Our food

We make many of our products in house, including our cakes and slices.

We use the best quality locally produced and sourced ingredients.

We know our suppliers and we know where our food comes from.

We are extremely committed to quality, sustainability and the traceability of our produce.

Our style of food is eclectic and brings the best of cuisines from different cultures together on one plate.

Our food offers a wide variety of choice and caters to people with food intolerances and lifestyle preferences – dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan.

Our coffee

At the Mossy we are lucky to have our coffee suppliers working so close to us.

The founders of Guerrilla Roasters also work on the Mossy team and impart all their coffee wizardry on to our passionate baristas. Guerrilla work with industry leaders who only source from sustainable farms throughout the Americas, Africa and Asia.

The blend they specifically design for the Mossy is ever changing with the seasons, which gives us the ability to showcase the different flavours in coffee but also the terroir of a specific region.

The Mossy Cafe Group and Guerrilla Roasters have a shared vision to offer the best quality coffee.

This ensures everyone’s best interests are at heart, from the farmer to the end customer.

VISIT MOGO WILDLIFE PARK

Mogo Wildlife Park is home to the most diverse private collection of rare and endangered wildlife in Australia, but also home to an incredible team of passionate zookeepers, who literally put their lives on the line during the 2020 Summer Bushfires to ensure that all the animals were safe as fires encircled the parks’ 70-hectare site.

Well known as a ‘must-do’ while you are in Batemans Bay. You will meet meerkats, red pandas, silvery gibbons, lions, tigers, white rhinos, & the largest tower of giraffes.
